Guide to publishing a machine tool

Publishing your machine tool on IndustrialBuyer is simple. Follow this guide to create an effective listing that attracts qualified buyers.

Section 1

Photos

Take clear, uncropped photos with good lighting. The essential photos are:

1

Front view

Machine photographed from the front, with the work area door open. Also take a second photo with the door closed.

2

Work area

Full-frame shot showing as many components as possible (spindle, table, guides, tools).

3

CNC control

Frame the screen, the keyboard and the CNC model (usually shown above the display).

4

Side views

One photo for each side of the machine, highlighting peripheral units (high-pressure system, chip conveyor, etc.).

5

Optional photos

Photograph anything that adds value to the machine: supplied tooling, accessories, data plate, overall condition.

Section 2

Video (recommended)

A video of the machine in operation showing all moving parts.

A walk-around video of the machine showing its overall condition.

Videos significantly increase buyer interest and the probability of a sale.

Section 3

Filling in the listing

1

Choose the most appropriate category for the machine. After your choice, all specific fields to be filled in will appear.

2

Keep the machine manual technical data sheet at hand.

3

When you choose brand and model, the system suggests technical data from the IndustrialBuyer database for automatic filling.

Warning: all data must be carefully checked and verified.

Section 4

Tips for a quick sale

  • Fill in all available fields: more information = more trust from the buyer
  • Indicate the year of construction and operating hours
  • Specify included equipment (tools, accessories, documentation)
