Used CNC lathes and turning machines

Our catalogue lists 128 used turning machines for sale, with photos, technical data and asking price. You buy directly from the owner, with no brokerage commission.

Families covered: bar-fed CNC lathes, Swiss-type sliding headstock lathes for small serial parts, chucking lathes with driven or fixed tooling, vertical lathes, multitasking machines with sub-spindle and teach-in lathes. Brands that come through most often: Biglia, Mazak, Doosan, CMZ, Citizen, Nakamura-Tome.

Every listing states what we know about the machine, hours included when available: we prefer to declare them upfront rather than have you find them at inspection. Inspections under power are arranged by appointment, and we can quote transport if you do not have your own forwarder.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a Swiss-type lathe and a conventional CNC lathe?

In a Swiss-type (sliding headstock) lathe the bar advances through a guide bushing and the tool always cuts close to the support point: the right choice for small, long, slender parts in high volumes, typical of precision turning and medical work. A fixed-headstock CNC lathe handles larger diameters and is more flexible on mixed batches. For serial diameters up to 32-38 mm look at Swiss-types; otherwise start from bar-fed or chucking lathes.

What should I check on a used CNC lathe before buying?

Spindle and control hours, axis backlash, turret and tailstock condition, and how the machine behaves in cut: a test part tells you more than any datasheet. On our listings hours are declared whenever the owner provides them, and a test run can be arranged before purchase.

Is the bar feeder included in the price?

It depends on the machine: when included, it is listed among the accessories on the machine page. If the bar feeder is essential for your work, mention it in your enquiry and we will confirm at once whether that machine has one and which brand it is.

Can I see the lathe running before I buy it?

Yes, and we recommend it. Visits are arranged by appointment; where the machine is already disconnected we send running videos and extra photos before you travel.

I cannot find the lathe I need: how do I know when one arrives?

Leave us your request with brand, model or specifications: stock rotates continuously and as soon as a matching machine comes in we notify you, before it reaches the public listing.
